Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

I think that the synopsis says enough about how epic this book sounds. I cannot wait to start this book!

Thank you so much to Pen Power Book Marketing for providing me with a copy of this book! Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

The writing in this book was good. You couldn't tell the difference between the two writer's writing style. I liked the dialogue it was natural and immersive.

Plot Thoughts:

The plot is so interesting. There is this really cool twist towards the end that I didn't actually expect. I loved it. The book definitely starts off with a bang but then it slows down a little bit before the pace starts to pick up again. This book was a little short for me. I wanted some things to be elaborated a bit more but if you just want a quick read then this book is perfect.

Character Thoughts:

Due to the book being short, there wasn't a lot of developments on the character side of things. I felt that because of this, the characters were a bit bland. I liked the main character, he was a lot more developed than the other characters.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I liked the story. The writing is good. The plot was actually really interesting. I loved how it started and I also enjoyed how everything spun out of control towards the middle. The plot was definitely my favourite thing about this book. The characters were enjoyable but the shortness of the book didn't allow the characters to develop and therefore made them seem flat.  Thank you so much to Pen Power Marking for providing me with a copy of this book.

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
