Goodreads Synopsis:

I want vengeance so badly that I can almost taste it. It's all I've ever wanted. So, I did what any privileged,a adopted boarding school girl would do. I slapped on a secret identity and became an internationally renown thief, known as The Fox. Nobody knows me. Nobody can catch me.

Or so I thought...

It turns out; I have what they want. Special abilities. And trust me, these abilities are coveted -- and dangerous. Now, I don't know who to trust or where to go. Peril lurks on every corner as I try to uncover my past and origin. Teaming up with unlikely allies may be my only chance at survival or my biggest mistake. Only time will tell.

I'm Kit Davenport and this is only the beginning.

Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

This book sounds absolutely epic! I cannot wait to jump into it. Not only does it have amazing reviews on Goodreads, but I am have been dying to read a book like this for a while now! I only hope that it will live up to the hype...

Thank you to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy for this book! I cannot wait to jump into this book. Just a small little disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

I really enjoyed the author's writing. It was super easy to get into and the pacing was really good. I liked how fun and entertaining the dialogue was. Whilst the writing wasn't detail heavy, the author allowed the reader to imagine some of the settings.

Plot Thoughts:

I really liked the plot of this book. I loved how we started in the middle of a mission and how the book ended. It took a completely different spin from what I had originally thought it would. The plot was well thought through and everything flowed quite well into each other. I loved how even though the book is mainly told through Kit's point of view, we got a different perspective every now and again. I loved how this book is filled with both action and some romance on the side.

Character Thoughts:

Kit is a character who had a rough past, but is using the gifts she was given to achieve some sort of greater good. I loved how she wasn't a typical character. She knew that having several guys going for her was weird. She even called out her own insta-attraction which was fun and interesting to see. She was also super funny and knew how to use sarcasm. I found her accessible in more ways than one.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I loved how the writing was light and easy to get into but wasn't overly detailed that it took away from the story. I love how the plot played out. It was filled with action and some cute moments. I adore Kit as a character and honestly, I cannot wait to read more bout her.  Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy go this book!
