Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

I am pretty sure that at this point it is no secret that I am obsessed with this series. I cannot wait to read this book. I am definitely interested in seeing what happens in this book especially because of how the previous book ended. I am dying to find out if my ship will make it out of this series alive.

As always, thank you so much to the wonderful Rachel Morgan for sending me a copy of her book to review. I am forever grateful for this amazing opportunity! Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

The one thing that I really like about the author's writing is that it is so good and that it is consistent. This means that if you would like to see my thoughts on the author's writing, you can find them here and here.

Plot Thoughts:

OH MY GOSH! I loved the plot in this book. It was so good! I was so surprised by how amazing this book is. I definitely don't mean this in a bad way, there was such a huge step up from the first book. The plot is different from the others in series and just pulled me in. I was constantly sitting on the edge of my seat. I read this book until about two in the morning. This book was incredible. My thoughts don't do this book justice. You just need to read this!

Character Thoughts:

Oh my gosh! Calla is probably my favourite character in this entire series so far. She is a strong and stubborn person. She is a character that I found accessible and just enjoyable. I also really adore Chase. He is a character that has definitely had a crazy past and it clearly haunts him. I loved how realistic these characters are. I definitely think that they make this series.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I loved this book. It is on my favourites list and oh my gosh this book was a journey. I had originally thought that I could read this book slowly but I lied to myself because I ended up reading the entire thing in a little over two hours. I forgot how addicting this series was. The writing hadn't change but in terms of this author it is a good thing. Rachel Morgan's writing is just amazing. The plot blew my mind. It started off when an action scene and it ended pretty epically! The characters were absolutely amazing and accessible. This book was just incredible. I highly recommend this series!

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
